On March 31, 2026, in Pristina, the The Balkan Forum, in cooperation with the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, convened a Stakeholder & Policy Engagement event under the GreenBridge project.
The event brought together 20 vocational school teachers and institutional representatives to discuss the future of green and digital skills in Kosovo’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
At the core of the discussion were key insights from the GreenBridge Needs Analysis, which highlighted existing gaps between current skillsets and evolving labour market demands.
Participants were introduced to:
- The main findings of the Needs Analysis and Policy Briefs
- The six GreenBridge training modules focused on green and digital skills
- Upcoming professional development opportunities, including study visits and train the traininer programs planned to be organized in Bulgaria (14-17 April, 2026) and in Malta (11-14 May, 2026)
The meeting also fostered an open dialogue on how to better align education with market needs emphasizing practical, hands-on teaching approaches and stronger collaboration with the private sector.
This activity marks another important step toward equipping VET educators and learners with the skills needed for a sustainable and digital future.
GreenBridge is funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CB-VET programme.
