Nevladina organizacija ALFA Centar osnovana je oktobra 2006. godine. Ciljevi formiranja organizacije su promovisanje i zastupanje stava da svi građani imaju pravo na miran, bezbjedan i dostojanstven život bez obzira na pol, uzrast, rasnu i političku pripadnost, nivo obrazovanja, profesiju i ostale razlike.Programsko djelovanje organizacije se odvija u četiri pravca:
- Analiza i istraživanje civilno-vojnih odnosa i podrška procesima članstva Crne Gore u NATO.
- Bezbjednost u saobraćaju
- Omladinski programi
- Programi u lokalnoj zajednici
An independent, non-governmental organisation, BIRN Kosovo exists to provide momentum to the democratic transition process, promoting accountability, rule of law and policy reform.
BIRN Kosovo’s approach is to combine its projects with those of the regional BIRN Network with a view to long-term sustainability of results and institutions.
BIRN Kosovo in particular aims to serve as a watchdog of public institutions, monitoring the work of governing and public institutions and supporting their reform and their path towards meeting the criteria and standards of the European Union.
In addition, through the production of quality and impartial TV debates and training of youth on argumentation and debating skills, BIRN aims to promote and encourage a culture of debate in Kosovo.
BIRN’s vision is to secure its position as the premier Kosovo investigative and analytical journalism organisation, addressing the need for objective, quality, sustainable reporting on the country’s many challenges in the arena of politics, economics and EU integration.
Forum for Civic Initiatives (FIQ) is a national foundation with a long tradition of community development works to promote philanthropy for sustainable development. FIQ believes that local communities is the best place for civic activism to be developed and lead from the front in terms of sustaining economic growth, achieving social justice and enhancing the environment for its citizens and communities.
FIQ was founded in 2000 by a small group of driving spirits that saw the need to mobilize citizens in decision-making processes as a consequence of the war in Kosovo 1998-1999. FIQ has since its formation grown from being an organization working with, community safety and civic activism to a national foundation working in areas that aim to strengthen the role of citizens, such as Sustainable Development, Grant Giving and promote philanthropy for filling the economic gaps of the Kosovar society.
Regional Youth Cooperation Office
Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) is an independently functioning institutional mechanism, founded by the Western Balkans 6 participants (WB 6): Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, aiming to promote the spirit of reconciliation and cooperation between the youth in the region through youth exchange programs.
The Agreement on establishment of RYCO was signed by the WB 6 Prime Ministers on WB Summit held in Paris, on 4 July 2016.
