Over 24 years of experience in project management, human resources, institutional and organizational development. 

Gazmend worked in different environments establishing great relations with diverse teams in various national and international organizations that he worked at in Europe, Asia and Oceania.

This includes engaging on humanitarian and relief programs, institutional/human resources  development, and democratization with Medicins Sains Frontiers (MSF), International Rescue Committee (IRC), Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in Pristina, Kosovo; International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Islamabad, Pakistan and in Sidney & Melburne, Australia.    

Issue areas include Human and Institutional development, democratization, civil society development, elections, conflict resolution, and coaching and mentoring.


Finance and Administration Manager | enis@thebalkanforum.org

Enis has worked in the banking sector, specializing in the development of banking products and the credit risk assessment of corporations. In addition, he has served as a finance manager for both international and regional organizations in Kosovo. Enis holds a degree in Management and Public Policy from the American University in Kosovo (Rochester Institute of Technology) and an MSc in Economics for Business Analysis from Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent, UK. 


 


Project Manager | erina@thebalkanforum.org

Erina Rrahmani is the Project Manager at The Balkan Forum. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science with a specialization in European Integration from the University of Pristina.

With extensive experience in project management and policy advisory roles, Erina previously served as an Advisor to the Minister of Culture and managed projects at the Jahjaga Foundation, focusing on education, transitional justice, and dealing with the past. She also worked as a Project Manager at the Kosovo Disability Forum, leading initiatives on inclusion and education.

Beyond her professional engagements, Erina is a distinguished children’s literature author, with published works in Kosovo and participation in various literary festivals and anthologies. She is fluent in Albanian, English, and French.

Gonxhe Konjufca completed her studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, in the Department of Philosophy, which provided her with a deep understanding of fundamental concepts, critical thinking skills, and the ability to analyze complex ideas.

Following her academic pursuits, she embarked on a career in journalism, dedicating four years to the profession. During her time as a journalist, Gonxhe covered a diverse range of topics, from culture to health and various social issues. Her journalistic endeavors reflected a commitment to shedding light on important issues and providing valuable insights to the public. Through research and insightful reporting, she contributed to a deeper understanding of the varied aspects of society.

Arta Haxhixhemajli is the Balkan Forum’s Research Officer. Arta finished her bachelor’s at the University of Warsaw in International Relations and later continued her master’s at the University of Pavia for World Politics and International Relations. Previously, Arta was a Non-Resident Researcher at the German Marshall of the United States. Arta has a strong interest in geopolitics, warfare studies, security dilemma, national security, and cybersecurity. Besides her native Albanian, she is fluent in English and French.
